GHS Academy Board of Trustees is a Board of “governance.” This means their work is primarily long-range and strategic in nature. The GHS Academy Board of Trustees delegates authority for daily operations to their one employee, the Head of School (HOS).
The Board has eleven authorized directors. The GHS Board of Trustees meetings are held at the school on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m.
The Board fulfills a critical business purpose. Because of this, the Board seeks members who have a wide range of business experience and perspective. This is a way to help shape GHS for the benefit of many generations of students to come!
The Board oversees the activities of the five Administrative Committees: The Development Group (Fundraising); Marketing Committee; GHS Parent Organization; Facilities and Grounds Committee; and Technology Committee.
