The middle school students have just completed learning how to use Weebly Website Software. Students created a website that connected with their Math content area. The 6th and 8th graders created Math Challenge Problems websites. Students had to apply their math knowledge while creating their Math Website. All students were given the opportunity to try each other's problems after all the websites were completed. The 7th graders created a Math Website about a famous mathematician. They learned about the life, education, contributions to math, and other interesting facts about their mathematicians. The 7th graders presented their completed Mathematician websites to the class.

Golden Hills School - Middle School Computer Goals

Golden Hills School Computer and Technology curriculum follows the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) created by the International Society for Technology in Education. Golden Hills School has also created an addendum to the national standards for each grade level.

In order to teach our students internet safety, the curriculum also incorporates the CyberSmart curriculum that aligns with NETS for elementary and middle school students. This curriculum includes Safety and Security, Manners and Ethics, Advertising Awareness, Research, and Technology.
