Prospective Students

Golden Hills School is a private, non-profit school and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, or sexual orientation in its admissions policies. Golden Hills School welcomes families of all racial, economic, religious and social backgrounds.

As a part of the admissions process, students will be invited to visit GHS for one or two days in their current grade. During the visit, they will be assessed as to their academic readiness and maturity to ensure their success at GHS. Past progress reports and standardized testing results are also collected.

We believe that any student of average or higher ability who is willing to work hard can succeed at Golden Hills School. Regardless of ability level, we ask that each student perform at his or her personal best.

At GHS, we adapt instruction to the performance and ability level of its students in the areas of reading instruction and mathematics. This differentiation and our focus on small group instruction and on working in effective educational partnerships with families allows a variety of learners to be successful.
