On Wednesday, May 5, GHS participated in its first ever golf tournament. A group of middle school students drove down to Haggin Oaks Golf Course to play a 9 hole stroke play tournament agasinst Sacramento Country Day School. This pioneering group bested the Cavaliers by 6 strokes 466 to 472. The group consisted of Connor M., Mitch J., Brayden D., Chelsea F., Melitta K., JJ M., Sean F., Jacob D., and Renz B. It was a great day for golf and these young linksters accorded themselves very well. GHS looks forward to more tournaments in the coming years. Congratulations to all of the golfers.
