First Grade-COMPUTERS:
Wecome back to school! In First Grade computers, we will meet weekly to learn the basic operation of a computer. Safe use of the computer will be our first priority. Students will learn basic key location, how to use Word, and how to safely explore the Internet-parent permission will always be required for home use; please sign the GHS computer use guide-line that will be sent home. Thank you! |
Third Grade-COMPUTERS:
Welcom back to school! In Third Grade computers, we will meet once a week to review and go forward with the basic operation of the computer. Students will increase their "keying" skills, improve their knowledge of "Word"(windows 7 when available). I will work with the primary teacher(Mrs. Rogers) to create a fun but educational environment. In August, our focus is to reintroduce last year's curriculum. |
Fifth Grade-COMPUTERS:
Welcome back to school! In Fifth Grade computers we will build upon last year's curriculum and prepare students for middle school computers. There will be an emphasis on building the student's ability to be an independent worker with the computer. I will work with Mrs Parvin to create a stimulating and educational computer class. |

The students will type at the beginning of each class. Students learn to use Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, PhotoShop Elements, and Front Page.
