Do you search the internet ? Than you can help GHS earn commissions from Yahoo. The best thing is it costs you nothing but a few minutes of your time.
Yahoo has teamed with Fund It Benefit Bar to offer search commissions to charitable organizations like GHS. Fund It has created a custom GHS Toolbar that resides near the top of your Internet Explorer or Firefox browser. The GHS Toolbar contains a Yahoo search box and several handy links to the GHS website.
Here's how you can help GHS earn commissions from Yahoo:
- Click this GHS Fund It Toolbar link. Follow the instructions to download the toolbar. There is plenty of help on the site if you have any problems.
- When you search the web, use the Yahoo search box in the GHS toolbar. Using this box alerts Yahoo to pay GHS.
- Upon viewing your search results, if you click on a sponsored link, Yahoo gets paid by thier advertisor and GHS gets a 10 cent per click commission.
10 cents per click might not sound like much but it adds up. Organizations much smaller than GHS are collecting hundreds of dollars per month in commissions. That's money that can be used for school and enrichment supplies, athletics equipment and many more needs around GHS.
One note of caution, Yahoo does monitor click patterns for illegitimate clicking. That means don't just click away solely for the purpose of earning commissions. For Yahoo to be able to make this business work, they need to show thier advertisers that they are getting their money's worth.
