Throughout your child's education at GHS Academy he/she will have the opportunity to participate in three outdoor education experiences. This year the 6th Grade Class will be participating in the Point Bonita overnight field trip, from Tuesday September 22 to Friday September 25, 2009. All sixth grade students received a form to take home to their parents on Monday August 17, 2009. Please ask your children for this form.
There will be a parent meeting to discuss the trip and the opportunity for parent chaperones. One Parent meeting will be held at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday August 25, 2009 in the Gym. There will also be an evening meeting for those unable to attend the morning meeting. The evening meeting will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Computer Room. It is very important that parents attend one of the parent meetings. If you have any further questions, please contact Shaaron McFadden, Student Services Director. |
